Who we are

The Bradford & District Chess Association is the governing body for chess in the Bradford area. We are committed to promoting and fostering both the playing and learning of chess. We organize a variety of regular competitions and tournaments for players of all abilities, including the historic Bradford League.

In addition to competitions, our member clubs offer high-quality junior classes on a weekly basis, helping young players develop their skills and passion for the game. Our aim is to nurture a thriving chess community in Bradford, welcoming players of all ages and levels.
